Vancity Networks (“we”, “us”) is a consultancy based in Vancouver, British Columbia. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we handle it, in line with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

What we collect

• Information needed to deliver and bill for our services, such as billing contact details and invoice history.
• Basic technical data from visits to this site (such as browser type and pages viewed), collected by our hosting provider for security and performance.

How we use it

• To respond to enquiries and provide the services you engage us for.
• To issue invoices and process payments.
• To keep this website secure and working well.

We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and are never stored on our systems. Stripe’s handling of your information is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.

Sharing

We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the business — such as hosting, email and payment processing — and only as needed for them to do so, or where required by law. Some of these providers may store data outside Canada.

Retention and your rights
